THE GLORY OF GOD

I am a Catholic and I personally have always seen God's loving presence in everyday life. That being said, I'm not a religious fundamentalist, snob, or sheep. I embrace thought diversity. In the following months, I hope to add some spiritual pictures or prayers. I would like to post up information about other world and new age religions too. This page is not about conversion. Whenever life becomes difficult, we must always remember that suffering is not all bad. It can be turned to good by our choices. It can lead us back to life, build a world of peace, justice and help others heal. Afterall, redemption comes from suffering. Although, God does not will our suffering, he gives us comfort. It is not so much why we suffer, but what we do with it. Disappointments are blessings in disguise. In these instances, when things seem hopeless, be strong and never give up. Have faith in God and faith in yourself. You will succeed.

Our Father

Our Father, Who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory Be To The Father

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Act of Faith

Lord Jesus Christ, I firmly believe that you are present in this Blessed Sacrament as true God and true Man, with your Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity. My Redeemer and my Judge, I adore your Divine Majesty together with the angels and saints. I believe, O Lord; increase my faith.

Act of Hope

Good Jesus, in you alone I place all my hope. You are my salvation and my strength, the Source of all good. Through your mercy, through your Passion and Death, I hope to obtain the pardon of my sins, the grace of final perseverance and a happy eternity.

Prayer for the Restoration of Health

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I come to ask you for the gift of restored health that I may serve you more faithfully and love you more sincerely. I want to be well if it is your will for me. If on the other hand it is your will that my sickness continue, I want to bear it with patience. If in your divine wisdom I am to be restored to health and strength, I will strive to show my gratitude by a constant and faithful service rendered to you, my loving Saviour and Redeemer, and my God.

Act of Love

Jesus, my God, I love you with my whole heart and above all things, because you are the one supreme God and an infinitely perfect Being. You have given your life for me, a poor sinner, and in your mercy you have even offered yourself as food for my soul. My God, I love you. Inflame my heart so that I may love you more.

Thanks For Family and Friends

Blessed are you, loving Father, for all your gifts to us. Blessed are you for giving us family and friends to be with us in times of joy and sorrow, to help us in days of need, and to rejoice with us in moments of celebration. Father, we praise you for your Son Jesus, who knew the happiness of family and friends, and in the love of your Holy Spirit. Blessed are you for ever and ever. Amen!

Prayer To Know God's Will

God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Author of glory, grant me spiritual wisdom and revelation. Enlighten the eyes of my mind with a deep knowledge of you and your holy will. May I understand of what nature is the hope to which you call me, what is the wealth of the splendor of your inheritance among the Saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of your power toward me.

Prayer For Peace

Lord Jesus Christ, we praise you: bring peace into the world by bringing your peace into the hearts of all. Help us to turn away from sin and to follow you in love and service. Glory be yours, and honour, for ever and ever. Amen!

A Prayer For Vocations

Heavenly Father, Lord of the harvest, call many members of our community to be generous workers for your people and to gather in your harvest. Send them to share the Good News of Jesus with all the people on earth. Father, we ask this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen!

For The Sick

Father, your Son accepted our sufferings to teach us the virtue of patience in human illness. Hear the prayers we offer for our sick brothers and sisters. May all who suffer pain, illness or disease realize that they are chosen to be saints, and know that they are joined to Christ in his suffering for the salvation of the world, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
