My free space at Xoom has disappeared but I've run out of disk space at AccessV so some of the Julia pictures are missing. Sorry!

A new year for Seinfeld

Look for at least another year of Kramer bursting into Jerry's apartment and Elaine complaining about her love life. The stars of NBC's Seinfeld have agreed to at least one more season and are negotiating for big raises, Daily Variety reported yesterday. Contracts for Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards all expire this year, putting them in a strong bargaining position. Seinfeld makes $500,000 (U.S.) per episode and rakes in money from syndication fees, Daily Variety reported. The three others make about $125,000 an episode. "Morale on the show is really good," said George Shapiro, Jerry Seinfeld's manager. "There's a positive feeling about returning, though no deals have been concluded at this point." The comedy, which started in 1990, is in its first year without co-creator and executive producer Larry David. The cast had wanted to see how things went before committing to another season.

Update: As you may know already the cast got big raises for the ninth and final (1997-1998) season.

Entertainment Weekly

Occasionally the question of Julia Louis-Dreyfus having done anything revealing will pop up in the newsgroup alt.tv.seinfeld. Here is a little excerpt from one message:

She did have a very revealing photo in the Sept. 13, 1991 issue of
_Entertainment Weekly_ (1991 Fall TV preview). She's in a kneeling position,
wearing only a black diaper-like thing and a pair of grapefruit halves over
her breasts. That's the sexiest shot I've ever seen of her, tied with the
time she played Nastassia Kinski on a "Weekend Update" on SNL, and did a
very accurate re-creation of Kinski's famous "snake" photo.

Yahoo

I see Julia is the cover girl in the March 1998 issue of Yahoo magazine. She has a strange expression of her face. Couldn't they get a better photo?
