Video Girl Ai is the story of a shy, teen-aged boy named Youta who has his life completely turned around when Video Girl Ai comes into his life. This was originally a comic book written and illustrated by Masakazu Katsura but I first saw it as an OAV at a Toronto university anime club. The six-part series made a big impression on me.
