Devil Hunter Yohko

One favourite anime character of mine is Devil Hunter Yohko aka Mamono Hunter Yohko. The stories feature a pretty teenaged girl in a slinky red Chinese dress with a magic ring and sword who can kick supernatural butt. You may have seen the Devil Hunter Yohko videos at your video store but did you know about the manga book? This Yoko has a different origin! Yes the name is spelled differently too.

Masakazu Katsura

Masakazu Katsura and Noriko Sakai

Masakazu Katsura has a reputation for drawing the prettiest manga girls. I guess his best known work is Video Girl Ai. This is currently available in English in the anthology title Animerica Extra. Also available in English is Shadow Lady from Dark Horse Comics. Check them out!

Jennifer Dale is one of Canada's most popular actors. Her American equivalent would be Lindsay Wagner or Stefanie Powers: women who have done many guest appearances on many TV shows and have had their own TV series.

Her last TV series was "John Woo's Once A Thief" in 1997-1998. For info check out the Alliance web site. I see the Internet movie database lists her as a voice for Resident Evil.
